IJust got my car back from the dealer. and another problem
i had taken my car for an oil change and for the cold start problem it had
So i picked it up this morning and they told me that they replaced the fuel pump.. as im driving back home a MSG appeared saying Engine malfunction slow down.. and every time i would switch gears there was a sound like a woushhhhhh.. it sounded like a BOV .. my car is stock bone wtf is going on ??????? |

Bring the car back. I know exactly what you are going through, hang in there they will fix the car. I had the same problem, car was given a new fuel pump and on the way home engine malfunction light went on and car shaked at all gears. If you restart the engine I think the computer reset itself and everything is good.
My personal conjecture is they probably flashed your ecu and it takes two or more restart for the car to reclimate itself. It is really weird, everytime they update my ecu with new firmware the car would behave oddly during the first startup (i.e. my power window loses autodown capability but comes back after the 2nd start.) Bring the car back and they will probably do a hard reset with battery disconnect.

just got a call back from BMW, and they told me that the hose was disconnected from the air intake???? thats why i was getting that sound and the car was running slow ????
(((4 some reason i dont believe them))) i also asked him what V. software is the car running and he told he didnt know... BS BS BS |

i told them that it was there fault that the hose wasnt connected..
he told me that he is not going to blame them.. ""and i was like wtf so you think i jacked up my car right after i picked up my car and disconnected the hose??"" |

they will never admit responsability.....all they do is tell you what problem was and it has been corrected.
Pointing the finger does not help anyway.....be kind and they'll be kind to you if not they'll give the run-around next time you are there. |
