I've decided on going with 6000k D1S bulbs but want to know what are the best bulbs out there? And where to get them? THANKS!

got any other pics with different angles? i think i'm going to go with the 6000k since that's what everyone seems to prefer for the color/light output. Like ssabripo asked, what angel eye bulbs are you running? THANKS!

6000k is the way to go, I find 8000k to be too blue of a color.

How do the 8000k compare at night compared to the stock bulbs?

They will put out about 80-85% of the light output of a stock bulb. That is also why I prefer 6000k in addition to the color, it provides a nice compromise between usable light output and color compared with the stock 4300k.

Just switched over to D1S bulbs. bought them off ebay and was wondering if any one had a problem with them flickering off occassionally. I checked all the connections and they are fine. Even put the stock OEM back in and there is no problem with the factories. Any advice why and what i can do it fix this problem. Thanks folks.

I hope so. the guy i bought it from is recommending doing a few things. i tried his recommendations but same ol same ol. These are the 2nd set of D1S bulbs i have tried. Exact same issue with the first set of bulbs and i got burned on returning those. I dont know why i cant get some 6k bulbs that will work just like the factory ones. Any recommendations on good 6K bulbs?
