That depends on the MY. 2008 M3s have the old version of iDrive with the exclusive large aluminum controller. 2009 M3s have newer version and the smaller controller with shortcut buttons.

That's nice. I think he wants to know what your idrive controller looks like, not what MY you have.

how come my e90 330i's idrive knob had more forcefeedback than the one in my m3?
I noticed that when im scrolling through a last list of mp3s on my idrive screen I have to keep turning it over and over, whereas in my 330i I could hold it slightly turned (not past the point of resistance) and it would keep scrolling on its own (much better interface IMO) |
