Random thought... Lambo doors?
Has anyone thought of this/did or going to do it?

i dunno man, seems kinda silly. I have to agree with the "ricer" comments. Modifying a BMW is different than other cars, in my opinon, and probably the opinion of many other people on this forum. It's not about doing something simply because you can or because it's popular. It's more about improving the asthetic(can never spell that word correctly) value of your car, and most people who love BMW's have a sense of style that is inline with that of the OEM BMW design, so the mod's are not as blatant and blarring as lambo doors. This is all just my opinion, so take it or leave it.
All that being said, if you have a 1er and you wanna put lambo doors, go for it! It's you car that you've paid for, and no one can tell you what is "cool" for your car, you're the only one who decides that.

Scissor doors look cool on any car. And why would anyone say they're rice? They started out on European supercars and exotics.

Bad experience has warped my mind of scissors. And even Lambo is moving away from scissors. Just look at a Gallardo.
