Clutch become softer @ 900 miles
Hi,
I have drove my car for a month now. It's around 900 miles. But recently, I feel like my clutch is so soft compare to few weeks ago. Is that normal? Is that what happen when it's reaching the break in period? The clutch is soft, the way I can describe is when you release the clutch, I dont really feel the force coming up from the clutch. It used to be like when releasing the clutch, the clutch is pushing up faster then I release it. Or did I get used to it, and dont feel heavy anymore? Do any of you feel that way? Thanks.. Please forgive my English.

The return spring probably got softer and you probably got used to it as well. the first few days the spring actually make some noise when I let go of the clutch, the "Springy" sound, and it's gone after 2weeks. I feel the same thing with mine after approx. a month.

Strange, mine felt slightly heavier after 1800 miles. Then I got in my Civic Si for a quick run to the supermarket and as light as Hondas are, that clutch felt real stiff. Got back in my 1er just to compare clutches and I was at ease.
