I recently upgraded my suspension system on my 2004 Z4. The replacement was not due to any breakdown or failure of any individual component. My decision for the upgrade was merely my personal preference to go Dinan Stage 3. As a matter of fact, the OEM M-Tuned suspension system as installed from the factory has performed excellently through the last 5 years and without any problems.

So, if your 2003-2005 Z4 is equipped with the standard suspension setup and you prefer not to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars for brand new suspension parts, this is a deal for you.

According to BMW, with the M-Tuned Suspension the stock height will be lowered about a half an inch.

I am willing to let this ALL go for a fair and reasonable offer, and preferably for a local pickup…

The Primary OEM parts are as follows:

25 mm Front Stabilizer Bar (Part No. 31351096364)
19 mm Rear Stabilizer Bar (Part No. 33551094545)

Lt. Front Spring Struts - Sachs (Part No. 31316761895)
Rt. Front Spring Struts - Sachs (Part No. 31316761896)

(2) Rear Shock Absorbers - Sachs (Part No. 33526764001)

M-Tuned Front Coil Springs
M-Tuned Rear Barrel Springs

Yes....the Dealer Option code called it M-Tuned Suspension...

Interesting. I didn't realize before that the suspension had changed around the time of the face lift, but looking at RealOEM I see you're right: the part numbers for the struts are different for 03-05 than they are for later Z4s. The sway bars, however, are apparently the same for all years. RealOEM doesn't give part numbers for the springs, so I don't know yet whether they're compatible across all years.

Thanks for posting this. This info could really help out anyone looking at picking up used suspension bits for their Z.

I was cleaning out the garage and saw the box with my OEM M-Tuned Suspension System still sitting around. I just wanted to let everyone know that it is still available, and I will sell everything for $195.00 obo (local pick up only)
