CDV
Thinking about doing this mod, but i have read that you can just take out the factory one out and connect the two lines together for the same effect as buying a new CDV, is this true? has anyone done this? any probs?

That's going to be noticeable when you have it serviced, and it might be putting stress on the lines. A better plan is to just remove the factory one, punch the guts out of it, and reinstall.

+1 that's basically what Riss Racing and other places do then resell them as their parts.

I did the Riss Racing CDV mod but to be honest noticed almost no difference except a very minor increase in a "springy" feel. I'll be the first to admit however that I am not an experienced driver or particularly fantastic at working on cars.
It was a tad confusing about which line your pulling out and what not so make sure you get a lot of help if you need it and be quick in your install. I have heard some horror stories about air in the lines which thankfully did not happen to mine, but it was a major pain the butt to get out.
