Eisenmann welds

had a dispute with an ind rep about the quality of eisenmann welds that, as he stated, is the best in the world. i will let you judge by yourself. other thing, stainless steel welds started to rost 24h after install, no rain or moisture.

Brand new is really appalling and seems there is no quality control BUT I guess all hand welds are not perfect.

As I said in your last thread I got my Eisenmann from Ilia over IND and mine does not have these issues. It was nice and polished and the welds looked very professional. Where did buy yours from?

Doru, it seems your exhaust is the exception and not the rule. Considering Eisenmann's reputation, I would suspect that they will make this right. Have you contacted them? You did officially purchase directly from them, no? If so, I think you would be taken care of.

I would not make that conclusion. US purchasers have all received beautifully crafted exhausts that are nothing like Doru's. Something is fishy here. And, if Eisenmann is as reputable as IND says (for example), they would not want this exhaust to be in retail hands.

We do know for 100% fact that Eisenmann systems that have been distributed in the US have craftsmanship that is beyond reproach. Maybe having a distributor as a middle man is important.

If you are in Romania why did you buy it from IND ? Can't you buy it from Eisenmann in Germany or their EU distributor ?

it came directly from eisenmann germany exactly as you see it. has nothing to do with ind. no middleman, distributor or anything.

Knowing Eisenmann, they should replace this for you. What are they saying when you call?

This system was not sold by IND. This dealer bought it direct from Eisenmann. If any US customers have a problem we will get them a new system right away. We have never seen a problem like this.

These welds look like they're not doing very well after a day. I'd talk to them on Monday, and ask them if they'll be able to send you another one without waiting again, if not just get the refund. Have others seen Eisenmann exhausts like this?

The Akrapovic rear section is EUR2504.20 + VAT. I'd jump on that if they offer you free shipping, it looks & sounds great. If you want to see & hear the GruppeM Ti exhaust, PM me and I'd be happy to show.

That blows. I hate when stuff like this happens. Make sure you stay on their ass about making it right. This is 100% unacceptable.
