* ESS performance product update *

Hey guys I wanted to give you a quick update on the E9X M3 projects ESS has been working on.

First an update on the NA software. ESS has been fine tuning this software to get the best performance possible and it is now ready for release. M3post members will have access to special pricing on M3 software.

Second our DCT software is being finished up and will soon be available for release.

Finally is the Supercharger . The 600 and 650 HP versions of our supercharger kits will be released by late August.

Picture of our Pre-Production kit and Dyno @ 7psi

If you have any questions on software or the new supercharger shoot me a PM

** software info and dyno has been added on page 2 **

I like how the torque curve with the SC rises til redline.. definitely would add more character to the M.

I live in PHX also we are using my personal car for most of the US E9X M3 testing. Let me know if you ever want to get together and go for a test drive.

is the NA tune adaptive to mods like the Z4M's tune?

would be nice to see a NA tune alone on stock vs tuned, i knwo it wnt provide much peak hp increase, but would like to see if any of hp or tq curves shift down or up.

edit: also, according to the ess site, do they have 2 locations? 1 in san diego and 1 in phoenix? if thats so, this makes my decision really easy

I will post up a dyno. Gains on a stock car are about 15-20 RWHP. It is adaptive just like the Z4M software and can also be custom if the customer needs something specific. ESS US main office will be in AZ.

do you by any chance know that if the DCT is updated through the dealer, that the ecu is flashed back to oe spec? as in, if there is a dct update, i go to the dealer to get it done, does the ecu need to be reprogrammed by ess?

i followed your Z4M build up and cant wait to see what you do with the e92.

Yes, it wipes out any tune you had. You will need to get it reprogrammed.

DCT software is flashed seperate. Unless the dealer flashes both then you wont need a DME software reflash. If the dealer for whatever reason reflashes your DME also then you will need the software re-installed.
