Sreptronic and Manually shifting Question

It is fun to run thru the gears on the 135...but when you are Manually shifting, and the gears drop as you slow to a stop, it stays in M2 ....is this normal, or should it stop in M1.....I know, I just click down to M1, but just wondering if this is how it is designed.

That's normal. It will only drop down to M2 on its own. It can start off in M2 all day, no issues.

Thank you John, appreciate the reply. My wife just keeps it in D, but I was out with it for a bit today and noticed it...It is a real nice car. It is still under 1200 miles, so I am being nice to it....but I believe I could get on it and not have any real problems.

I test drove one the other day like this and thought that was odd to but, my CA said that it was normal. (get on it when you feel comfortable but the one I tested saw 7200 rpm easy and went threw all the gears flawlessly and it was a blast) punch it!!!


(had my CA's encouragement to drive this way normally I would treat it like a baby but it was worth the abuse)
