It looks like a 328i with a lot of M3 parts, also the V8???
The shape of the front grills intake look like it comes from a sedan 328i. The steering wheel, mirrors and rims belongs to a regular 3 series. very interesting... |

It could also be an actual M3 with a lot of the OEM parts sold or just removed due to damage. Interesting that it has the M3 gauges and there's clearly the V8 motor and the center console has the EDC, DSC, Power Buttons but a lot of other stuff is missing. Guessing someone really wanted a lot of the interior pieces for their own car and the M3 OEM wheels were wrecked or sold off as well. Maybe a lot of front end and under carriage damage.

Looks like they grabbed parts from a wrecked 328 or 335 and transferred the parts over. The steering wheel, side mirrors, and wheels are from a regular E92.

it's definately an m3
look at the fenders i doubt someone went through all that trouble for a 328 and the cooler below the passenger headlight is M3 only strut bars are M3 only, sills i think having the transmission in the trunk might ruin the balance of the car it's an M3 that's had some parts "donated" to a regular 3 series mirrors, steering wheel (although it has the M button), wheels and tires |

Well, thanks for taking the initiative. I guess we could contact the ebay seller and see if they know the full deal on the vehicle or at least see what dealer it might have originated from (Car Fax/Car Proof?). It's good to know BMW is quick to remove these vehicles though.

It has shitty wheels because the original owner probably had aftermarket wheels but couldn't take them back until the car had a set of wheels on it (any set) which is why it has the e90 wheels on them. Im surprised the hood looks untouched.

Being honest this car would be a wrecking yard owners heaven.
As long as he knows whats what on the car and doesnt let shit go for cheaper than value. It would be very profitable in the end. -Former BMW Wholesale Parts Advisor |

Likely stolen/recovered. The car looks like it's been stripped, and the eBay seller has just thrown on whatever they could get their hands on, to make the car look semi-complete.
I shudder to think what else has been stripped off of it.....
