How do you inactivate ABS for dyno runs?

Hey all, I've got the chance to do some dyno runs on a Land & Sea dyno while I'm waiting to get my front end aligned. How do you inactivate the ABS for dyno runs? Thanks in advance .

once you get on the dyno, everything deactivates. dont have a heart attack when your car comes off the dyno, every light will be on.. goes away after 5 minutes of driving.

Well my car is proof that inexperienced techs shouldn't try to dyno M's. My car was not happy, it was pulling timing up top and running into an artificially low rev limiter. I let them do 2 pulls and they could only get 302hp out of it at something like 6700 rpms . Taking the car home it felt down on power, so I reset the ECU and she's back to normal now. Guess I'll head over to RPI or Gintani to get a real dyno and see where it's at .

Was your hood open? Since you are DCT, it would shut it down earlier.

Just make sure the operator deactivates the traction/stability control (i.e. DSC). King Tut and I dyno'd together, and we had no issues, idiot lights, or loss of power. Make sure you go to a shop with a good rep, that knows what they are doing, and has throrough dyno experience. You would hate to fry your brakes or worse, see your car come off the dyno.

Nope, they had the hood closed. It was a smooth pull until 6 grand and then the curve looked like the Rocky Mountains...strange.

Thanks to PG I was able to have the car dyno'd again today. Mike @ Autowave was able to make 5 clean runs within a few horsepower of each other. Numbers came back at 344/255ish on a Dyno Dynamics. At least now I can rest easy knowing that Saturday's results were user error . I'll be headed back over to Autowave once I've installed the Fabspeed x-pipe and put a tank of fuel through it. Hopefully we'll see some decent gains.

I did not understand why you would need to disable something from the braking system in order to make a good dyno run? Is this something with the auto's?

Nope, just a retarded guy that had no business running an M3 on the dyno. Horrible experience .

Right, because ABS would have nothing to do with the run.

Just found out a guy with an '06 M6 w/ 2nd cat deletes, axle back, etc put down 396hp on this same dyno...so not bad results for my car . Another guy with an M5 and some Dinan goodies and stage 2 tune laid down 437 on this dyno...damn V-10's.
