A couple of videos from last week's run to Lake Mountain & Black Spur

I took the 125i up to Healesville, the Black Spur to Marysville and through to Lake Mountain last week. You can see a lot of the devastation caused by the Black Saturday bushfires in February. It was quite overwhelming seeing what little remains of Marysville, which was a beautiful little getaway, and a place I have fond memories of.

Anyway, not much traffic on the roads as a result, which made for a fun day's driving.

For those who are in authority,

This clip has been accelerated during editing and no way cozza can drive that fast. It cannot be used as an evidence for persecuting cozza for traffic violation whatsoever.

You should have seen them before the bush fires - lush rainforest. Now it's pretty much all black tree stumps, most of the green is new growth.

Any Melbourne members keen to go a drive up that way sometime soon?

Great Vid Cozza - I was there that weekend too but quite late in the afternoon and traffic was much heavier. Very interested in a trip up there...

I think i saw your car parked in Healesville (on the main road) as I drove past. AW debadged, euro plates?

Yep, that was me. Parked to grab some lamb shanks and a couple of eye fillets! Great little deli on the main street there.

No mods to my car at all - wouldn't mind the intake and exhaust though.

Thanks for the vid. I would love to go up as I haven't been since last year. Have friends that had a place in Marysville. The fires were a tragedy for many people. I hope others are keen to re-visit the area.
