Care and Feeding of Leather?

I'm close to the purchase of my first BMW and am currently considering my interior options. I'm a fan of the Lemon Boston Leather with the Monaco paint job and am willing to pay the extra $$ and deal with the leather maintenance for look a I'm happy with.

I've read about some of the sport seat (I'll have them) bolster wear issues owners have had and the suggestions to reduce it, e.g. avoid sliding over it. I don't know anything about conditioning the leather. Any opinions on if it's needed, if so how often and what products are best? Any other issues or positives out there people are experiencing with the leather seats? Also, I'm most likely going to get the CW package but not the power seats.

Thanks

While there are many good leather conditioners, I particularly like Connolly Hide Care and Zymol Treat. I generally feed the leather about every 3 months - takes all of 10 minutes or so.

I have Lemon and have no regrets. Have a 21,500 miles on a 9 month old car, but with the exception of a litle wear on the side bolster of the drivers seat, the Leather looks brand new. If you get Lemon, you HAVE to clean + condition at least once a week.

I'm partial to Zaino products. I love the leather in a bottle.

I recently purchased the BMW Leather Cleaner/Conditioner from my local service department. I've used it twice and like it so far - it doesn't leave a greasy residue.

I've been curious to see if anyone else has used the BMW Leather Cleaner/Conditioner over a long period of time and if so how it measures up to other products on the market.

I use the BMW leather cleaner and it helps my leather to continue smelling new and looking good. I have been using the product for almost a year and am interested in how it compares to the others as well.

I've been using Lexol since my first BMW and it's worked well on every leather I've tried it on since. I highly recommend.
