Injen SP1121 intake for 125i owners - anyone interested?

I'm looking at buying the Injen SP1121 SRI intake for my 125i. The price is around US$340 plus shipping. Anyone keen on a group buy? 1addicts members in ths States are looking to organise a group buy but this will most likely exclude orders for Australia. Let me if you're interested and I'll look into the best pricing options plus combined shipping (to Melbourne).

Yep

It fits the European 125i, which is the same as ours.

As far as I know it doesn't suit the 130i. Sorry.

Modifications can only void one's warranty if a fault/damage occurs as a direct result of the modification. If something fails that is completely unrelated to the intake, you're covered by your factory warranty.

If, for some reason, a fault occurred with the engine and BMW could justify that the intake caused it, then you're not covered.

You sure it is a good idea to redivert the intake air away from the inlet tube.

The inlet duct meant to bring cold outside air to the engine and you are now getting air from engine bay. Yeah you will get more air but warmer.

Hope it does make more hp. Tuning NA engine I know is frustrating, in my limited RX-8 adn 350Z experience.

Depends if they dyno-tested the car with the hood closed or open (most likely). Wouldnt get much airflow in that location imo.
