Honestly, I buy them for sound and weight savings. You'll never get mind blowing performance numbers from these parts IMO.

if you have the budget, get a full titanium system for about 10 000+.
But if i were you, i'd get a sus muffler for 2500 and get a shorter diff for 3000. this way you'll still have an insane acceleration and have some money left.

i just spoke w/ curry's auto here in NOVA and they said it it took them over 2 1/2 hours to get this exhaust on, RoadRace tech also spent 1/2 a day on it and couldn't get it to fit...

They obviously don't know what they are doing then. Mine took 30 minutes to install and the fit was perfect.

or it was a one ... RoadRaceTech and Curry's is probably one of the most reputable shops in Northern VA for bmw's so don't think it was the shop...

Its not the exhaust but the shops! I was the second customer they have ever installed an exhaust for with an E92. I know the situation, the guy had a vert and originally took it to RoadRace, they couldn't figure out how to take a rear sway bar out and gave up, the car then came to Currys and since they had never done an E92 exhaust in general, it took them longer.

They did my Meisterschaft in 30 mins, charged me 2 hrs though since that's their standard rate....I didn't mine since they did a perfect job and I have been going to them for the past 10 years.

Why would anyone want to remove the safety rear bar on a e93 to install a exhaust?? I would have done the same as the shop. So you have to remove the rear safety bar support bar on all e93 M3's to install this exhaust

Yes. Take off GT 2. Attach stock exhaust.

Problem solved.

You don't have to remove the cross bar at all. There is a center bolt in the middle of the cross bar you loosen in order to slip the exhaust right in. After that, just tighten the bolt again. No biggie.

I have the GT with SR pipes on my E93 and installation took less than 30 minutes. I've had it for 6 months now with no complaints, just a bunch of smiles.
