GruppeM intake for E90?

Anyone have this intake on E90? Is the intake the same for e90 and e92? My Filter case A is rubbing up against the hood vent and is pushing it up. I no longer have my rubber grommet on the hoodvent as well.

I think I remember PencilGeek saying that any gains and sound improvements were solely from the filter itself and not from the actual intake. That said the intake is a colossal waste of money.

This intake is e90 compatible, it was a faulty install by the installer.
