FS: 2006 M Coupe ***Only 13,600 Miles***

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
ONE OF ONLY 380 2006 Z4 M COUPES EVER BUILT! Here is your chance to own this instant legend. This car has only 13,600 miles and has been pampered since I bought it new in in June of 2007. The car is in perfect, like new condition throughout. Original list price of this car was approximately $57,000.00. Aftermarket upgrades: 1. ESS ECU flash. 2. UUC shortshifter. 3. Hardwire for radar detector. 4. Super bright "Tekarbon" angel eyes. All upgrades professionally installed by one of the top BMW performance shops in Southern California. Although BMW only recommends one oil change at 1200 miles before the standard 15000 mile service, the oil in this car has been changed 3 times already. The two most recent oil changes using MOTUL LeMans racing oil. Also, a $1000.00 clear bra covers the front bumper cover, 1/3 front fenders and hood, side mirrors, and side flare outs in front of the rear wheel well. Always garage kept under a BMW car cover, which is also included in the sale. Vehicle will be sold with all performance parts listed above. Vehicle has the remaining bumper to bumper warranty from BMW until 4/2011. Also, an extended powertrain warranty from BMW is in effect for this vehicle until 1/2013 ($1900.00 value). You will not find a cleaner, better cared for M Coupe anywhere.

This car really is perfect through and through. I would keep it if only for one problem. Last January I bought a Porsche 996 GT2. With a few tweaks here and there I'm running about 580 RWHP, and the car weighs about 2900 Lbs. Frankly, I'm in a completely different universe with my GT2 and I can't justify two toys in the garage.

Asking $32,000

(Photos show SS exhaust, which has been removed and is for sale separately. Car is back to stock exhaust)

EMAIL ME AT gabriel@grassodefense.com if you would like more info.

Sorry, the exhaust is being sold as a whole. Already have interested parties. BTW, The exhaust is at the shop that installed/removed it in Arcadia, CA.

Sorry, strut bar is staying. When I show the car people really like it and the little it could sell for really is not worth the hassle of taking it off and shipping.

Very nice car. Good luck with the sale.

Any interest in swapping headlights and/or selling the short shift kit?

Is that a custom paint job or vinyl?

How much was the car tracked?

OK, here are some answers:

1. Colors are high quality vinyl with a vinyl clear coat. It took 2 guys 6 hours to do the job and it came out great. I did it for the 2008 Bimmerfest and it was such a hit that I left it on. It can be easily removed in about 20 careful minutes. Although it does not show in the photos, I have removed the BMW Motorsport lettering and side M badges (on further reflection, it was overkill)

2. The SS exhaust, Ground Control full coilover suspension, and 4 new 100+/- mile Toyo R888's are for sale separately. THE REST OF THE CAR WILL BE SOLD INTACT AND NOT PARTED OUT. I'm not in a hurry to sell, I will continue to make my death defying drives in the GT2. The M Coupe is not being driven. It sleeps next to the GT2 in my 4 car garage on a battery tender under a car cover.

3. The car has been to two BMW driving schools (4/08 Las Vegas speedway road course and 3/09 PIR). It has also done one morning session at Cal Speedway. and has been to Spring Mountain in Pahrump, NV twice. That's the extent of the track time. No accidents or run offs or any other trauma. Some of you guys might know me or know this car and know that it has been more of a show car than a track car.

4. BTW, it does have a CDV delete.

The side badges, I agree, but the Motorsport lettering was working for ya, imo. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the answers.

When should we expect to see the sale threads pop up? I'd definitely be interested in the GC suspension. Dual or single adjustable? Spring rates? Feel free to PM me if you'd like to keep this thread a bit more tidy than it seems to be getting.

Arcadia, CA, that's pretty damn close to where I live, possible for me to hear how loud this is or it has been off the car already? BTW, so one of my CAT's would be gone after I installed the x-pipe?

The exhaust is off the car.

There is no issue with the CATs. The x pipe and mufflers are located to the rear of the secondary CATs.

I meant the buyer, he's also an enthusiast and will care for the car.

Anyway, Seattle is a pretty nice place.

Yeah... WTF, man. Have you EVER been to Seattle?

I wonder if the new owner will keep the overlays. If he/she's on the board, hit us up!
