I clean my wheels before they go that dirty.
The brake dust can bake into the wheels and causes pitting.

It will take months and months of not washing the wheels for any pitting to occurr if any..Its just the metal fibres in the brake dust oxidising on the wheels..

that's pretty clean to me. Mine's not that bad yet, but it will be worse knowing what it was like on the E46 AND E87.

If you want to see black, you should see some picture of the e46 in the most recent Brisbane meet - they are black.

My are feral at the moment with all the rain we've had here this month and it's been two weeks since I've cleaned the beast.

Who's doing your detailing Matt? I'll attempt this to some extent myself tomorrow...
My wheels get nowhere near as dirty as they did when the pads were first bedding in. I've used the Amour All successfully a few times but would rather just clean the car more often.
