e46 wheels on the e9x M3?

I'm wondering if I can take the e46 oem 19s and put them on an e9x M3. Anyone know if this is doable? Are spacers required?

Cheers!

I think they would fit, but I don't know if they would need spacers.

The OEM 19's on E46 M3 have a high offset as compared to the E9x M3 cars, so they will require spacers to fit properly.

The center bore on both cars is 72.5mm, and of course the PCD is 5x120, so there are no fitment issues in that regard.

For the E46 M3 wheel to achieve the same offset values as the stock E9x cars, you will need to add spacers in the following sizes:

18mm spacers for the front wheels

5mm spacers for the rear wheels

Be advised that your OEM E46 M3 wheels will still appear tucked, even after you add these spacers. (on the much deeper E9x M3 wheel wells)

So to achieve a 'flush' look...would require even thicker spacers.

The offsets of the wheels are just too far apart to begin with...

Even aggressive E46 M3 wheels will be tucked on the E92 M3.

You can bring the E46 M3 OEM 19's wheels over, just realize that these two cars have very different wheel fitments.
