Question about tunes

Hi all,

When it is time to smog your car will it pass the smog test with any of the ECU tune available to us today? Also what if you got a tune that disabled the secondary O2 sensors and put back your stock mid pipes, would this pass the smog test?

I can't speak for other tunes, but ours do not have a problem passing smog. There are two ways to attack removing the check engine light for cats:

1) Change the thresholds in the code that compare pre and post cat o2 sensor voltages.
2) Turn off the o2 sensors and emission monitoring completely.

Remember this is for offroad use only
