Removing secondary cats + resonators on stock exhaust= ?
Hello... Im planning on doing this mod...
Sooo basically what can I expect if I remove secondary cats and resonators on a completely stock exhaust? How will it sound? what performance gains can I expect? Thanks! |

I wouldn't even bother with that. I installed the Fabspeed x-pipe section (2nd cat & resonator delete) and it gained very little power. However, it did gain some raspiness .

But was it noticeably louder than stock? If I chose the resonated version, will the rasp still be present?

I think so. I'm running a resonated Encore Innovation set-up and it's raspier than the Fabspeed. It really won't make the exhaust much deeper, just raspy up on top-end.

one mod I did previously was Eisenmann Sport with secondary cat delete. The exhaust became slightly louder and much more aggressive with no added rasp. My suggestion is leave the resonator.

Since I am in between exhaust installs right now, I wouldn't recommend that sound.
It sounds like garbage to me. Like a loud Sport bike and rattling change up hi. I hate it |
