E90 owners - door frame squeak

I have found that my E90 M3 has an annoying squeak around the door window frame when the car rolls slowly over an incline, for example, when I reverse out of my driveway, leave the kerb and roll onto the road or when rolling over speed bumps.

If I have the windows down it is much less noticeable. I have thought that it may be the window glass rubbing against the door frame rubber.

Has anyone encountered this problem?

Many thanks.

I don't think I have that but I do have the mirror rattle and some whistling sound that comes and goes at speed.

I had the same problem and they fixed it as a part of the 1200 mile service. I believe this is a known issue and BMW has a service bulletin out on this. Talk to your SA, they should be able to help you.

Thanks for that. I have just spoken to SA and it is a known issue that is fairly easily sorted out.

Having said that I believe the fix is lubricating the door frame rubber where the window makes contact. I understand it is a dry lubricant that bonds to either the rubber or glass.
