135i '09 coupe, MT, BSM in RI/Mass
Background: About 4,200 miles with manual transmission. It brings a smile to my face every day to drive this near perfect, shockingly fast automobile that 1addicts.com members helped me purchase, and it really saddens me to have to sell it. So just why am I selling it? Happily, we're starting a family with a new addition on the way and, as amazing as the 1-er is, it just won't do as our main family hauler (by decree of my wife... Helloooo future 325xi wagon). Here are the basics: Content: Black Sapphire Metallic exterior with Shadowline trim. The interior has "Terra" leather with grey poplar wood trim. The car has essentially every option minus nav/i-Drive and the useless ski-passthrough (I opted for the more useful rear folding seats). This means it has Premium and M-Sport Packages; Xenon Adaptive Headlights with auto leveling and Cornering Lights; Dynamic Stability Control; Dynamic Brake Control; iPod and USB adapter; Multi function steering wheel; Universal garage door opener; premium audio system; power and heated sports heats with power lumbar and memory; "M" steering wheel and shifter; and so much more. And before you ask, I deleted "Active steering." The car's steering feel is pure and true as BMW engineers intended. Price, Warantees: Warrantees, including 4 Years/50,000 Miles Warranty, free BMW routine service, BMW Assist, and roadside assistance are all in effect. Again, this car is in showroom condition. Always garaged. More details and photos upon request. This car would cost about $44,800 new without taxes or delivery, and about $40,300 as a certified pre-owned. I'm selling it for an Edmunds TMV $37,000 firm. I'm based in Providence, RI. Contact me for a test drive via the craiglist listing below! In this case, because she's right ...
We just finished paying for her little Civic sedan, which is perfect for her commuting and will last forever. While the 135i worked for our young couple condo living, with a big new house and a baby on the way and with lots of stuff to haul (I have no idea how to get a snow blower here), it just makes sense... Domestic harmony and such... The wonderful thing is that in today's auto (and BMW) world, getting utility doesn't mean giving up some driving pleasure and luxury (although I will miss the 135i's telepathic steering). - Garris |
