Parking sensors

I didnt order the park distance control, and really regret it. Im glad i dont have the holes in my bumpers though.

I drove my e36 for 10 years, and knew every inch of the car. im having a really hard time getting used to the dimensions of this new car.

found this online.....im gonna get it

Interesting. I have the PDC and really like having the visual display. I find its more accurate than the beeps. The current generation's sensors are also very unobtrusive. BMW also makes an aftermarket option that bolts to your license plate frame.

Garage List
subscribed! please let me know how this goes, i'm interested in doing something like this myself.

From what I remember, the BMW aftermarket option is only for the 3 series right?

After backing into something with my car already, I'm very interested in aftermarket PDC. I'd prefer to just retrofit the OEM system if possible. BMW says it's not offered and I can't follow the wiring info on the RealOEM site.

Thanks for posting that link.

I had the same situation with my dads mountaineer. It came prewired. We simply replaced the dash and added the sensors. It can be done!

Anyone tried this kit or a similar one (if so provide a link to the one you used)?

I have a 2010 135i with idrive but without PDC. Trying to see how hard this would be to install and if it would work at all with my set up.
