FS: Vanguard Performance Titanium Exhaust
I guess the time is ticking down... My wife has asked me repeatedly to switch back to the stock exhaust. She prefers the stock exhaust better, especially since we're planning on starting a family soon. The only good news is that I get to do anything else to the car that doesn't increase the sound of the car So right now, I'm starting a feeler. The Vanguard Performance Titanium Exhaust weighs around 19lbs, compared to around 55lbs for stock. The system I have has the standard finish, short tips so it fits flush with an e90 M3. As can be seen in the pics below, the tips can be adjusted outward to accommodate an e92. The exhaust was installed two weeks ago, and has less than 200 miles (not even enough miles to turn the titanium blue). It is still installed in the car at this time. The pictures below will show that the exhaust is in excellent condition. I am asking for $2400 shipped (continental US) or $2300 local pickup (DC area). Here is an independent review of the Vanguard exhaust: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=301819 I agree 100% with the reviewer's comments. The exhaust is louder in the lower RPMs, especially between 1500-2000. But as stated elsewhere in the forum, this is pretty common for most aftermarket exhausts for the M3. It does not drone in the cruising range of 2500-3000rpm. I would rate the sound as following: -it is louder than an Eisenmann Sport -it is quieter than an Eisenmann Race -it is waaaay quieter than a Gintani exhaust -the lower RPM sound is quieter than an AA exhaust. This pic shows how flush the tips can be on an e90. This pic shows how far you can extend the tips for an e92 or for a diffusor. Here are other threads about the Vanguard Exhaust http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=295108 http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=288949 http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=291475 http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=293814 http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=275455 Last edited by M3ltdown; 09-23-2009 at 07:05 AM.. |

-Yes, I still have the original box that the exhaust came in. -I am located in Northern Virginia. -I will remove the exhaust from the car this coming weekend and will take pics off the car. |

Dont take this the wrong way but i realize its mint/almost new but the fact of the matter is it is not brand new so just my opinion selling it for $300 less than what I can get a brand new one for doesnt seem very enticing when spending $3k.
Good luck with the sale

I know some people feel that way but there are also others who wouldn't mind spending that $300 on other things, like air filters, scoops or other stuff But that said... I've dropped the price slightly. $2400 shipped to the continental US $2300 local pickup in DC metro area. |
