Rim damage

The dealership just repaired two of my front rims after they scuffed them and it turned out pretty well. Today I just did some aggressive driving and when I got home, I realized the fillings peeled off in places?!?! What can I do about it?

Plus, I put a thin, red pinstripe around the rims and when the dealership peeled it off for rim repair, the paint came off with it. Any chance it's the manufacturer defect?

I thought when they fix rims, that stuff's pretty strong and will hold up, not just fall off.

they probably used a third party vendor to repair. Happened to our Lexus but a year later(it sits and only gets driven on weekends) it peeled off. I'm sure if it was a daily driver it would have been peeling sooner.

just gotta go back and fix again(for free!)

Today I was in an accident, where a drag prepped Mustang rammed my ass doing 100+ MPH

I still don't believe it myself. I think the reason why I'm still here is that I managed to move off a little bit, so he swiped more of the side of the car. Guy is a friend of mine and he took pictures so hopefully I will be able to post them up

Poor car is done for sure :/

Yeah I hope... Thanks guys! If the car is now worth about 25k retail (05 Z4 gray/red manual all equipment except nav and cd changer, 30k miles, CPO, manufacturer's warranty expiring in a month) how much loss am I looking at due to the accident if they decide to fix it? Dealer was usually giving me 18.5/19

I'm gonna have to sell that thing :/ I heard BMW's after rear suspension damage will never be the same...

I will go to iND probably tomorrow, so I will take a few pictures then. The roadster held up pretty well actually. Seems like no structural damage to the more important bits except the suspension. His car basically slid underneath and kinda lifted mine up. That's how there's not much damage up top.

Sam - they will probably try to fix bumpers up, so no mods for me

I'm probably not gonna keep it and go with a Porsche 911 C4S. It only depends if the car is gonna drive and feel like it did before. If it will.... I'm gonna mod the hell out of this thing
