Will my Eisenmann Sport Restrict my Exhaust Flow?

I'm looking into the fabspeed HFCs and X-pipe, but I have the Eisenmann Sport axle back. Is there any Chance this will restrict power substantially?

I want to keep the docile "under the radar" sound level so I wouldn't go to another exhaust option except maybe Dinan to free up some flow.

what do you guys think? should I worry or no?

The Eisenmann will still increase power, just as it does now. FabSpeed has coupled quite a few x pipes with Eisenmann exhausts, both Sport and Race, and has made good power with those setups.

Yes, the very nature of the muffler will restrict flow. But not nearly as much as OEM does. You may only gain minor power by choosing a muffler other than your current Eisenmann Sport. I think you'll be very happy with this combo... most of the restriction now is in your primary cat and that will be getting replaced. I think you'll really like the combo

The Eisenamann Sport really is a good sounding muffler.... Sometimes I miss mine, even though I like my current setup

See my latest thread which has a dyno showing the results.

As the others have stated, the Eisenmann Sport axle back exhaust will restrict the exhaust gas flow somewhat.

Here are a few aftermarket muffler solutions that will improve your bottom line performance while maintaining a reasonable volume level (dB):

Remus Sport
Dinan
Bastuck

All of which will also restrict some flow...

But a properly designed system as all of these including Eisenmann are, will only add a minor restriction. You won't need to worry.
