CPO BMW with the extended warranty. Depreciated, cheaper on insurance, but still have the power of the BMW warranty and still drive BMW.

Hmm since the options are slim I'd probably buy a used X3. There are a bunch of them under 45K for under $20K.

Used GTI...unless you could get a new one for that--not sure how hard up the VW dealers are....

thanks for ideas. I'm in no hurry so it gives me deals to watch for.
I don't know why a z4 didnt cross my mind, but i was looking at 350z's today. i'll have to look at Z4's too. I looked through the low mileage 3's locally and htey are all a tad to much. although i'm going to keep watching them. That's the hardest part of what i'm considering - at teh end of the day, this car is the best feeling car i've ever driven. I love it. i also have a complete set of snow shoes for the 1, KW-11's with winter runflats. if i could keep those and keep using them it would be clutch. i wonder if they'll fit on the Z4 Last edited by Xyloft; 10-07-2009 at 10:28 AM.. |

Look for a leftover 09 WRX (they must be out there) and stretch a few grand over 20. Or look for 06/07 with low miles. Avoid 08- the mulligan year.
