can z4 receive sms from mobile?

Hi all,

we all know that connection of mobiles (i'm particularly interested in the iphone) via bluetooth is fine to use in the z4. But what about receiving a sms when someone sends you one.

the manual says that this can be done but will not work if the mobile can't send to the car or it might have to be enabled through the service provider.

Can anyone received a sms on the car through their mobile? in particular the iphone?

Works just fine for no i-phone for me. The only -major- issue is that no greek characters are supported, so it's kind of worthless to me. But I'm sure you won't need the greek spelling down under.

umm...

when i get an sms it comes on the iphone but doesn't come up in the display in the car.

Same for me, very frustrating, you don't Hear or see that you've got a SMS

I have a Sony Ericsson phone and what I had to do to see the envelope icon to say you have a text was;
Go to messages, here at first I see items I've sent to the car via google maps, then
about 5 mins it updates itself and I can see all my texts from the phone on the screen.
You need to stay on the messages screen while this happens
Now you can leave that screen and when you have a text the envelope icon will show in the top right grey box, for me anyway.
