lol $800...I listed my OEM exhaust for $150 a few months ago and no taker...so I decided to keep it as a furniture in the backyard.

What did you make it into, a chair? That would be uncomfortable.

Actually I bolted it under the chair so it makes me feel like driving the M even in my backyard.

Ya $100-150 for a full one, $50-100 for a cut one seems to be going rate.. Part of the reason is that shipping can be pricey if going a long way. I bought one on the forum (see my sig!)

Just mufflers??? I sold it for $150 as well. I don't think even the full stock system (cats/xpipe/muffler) is worth $800.....

here's the thing, BMW can charge you $1300, but how many M are going to buy OEM M exhaust. The exhaust is so specific to our cars, and the majority of M owners are buying aftermarket exhaust. Therefore, why pay 1300 for OEM when you can get Remus for ~1500. In conclusion, used OEM has no value aside for what it's worth as scrap metal.

Unless you wait a few years we most of us are due for smog. hahaah, then the price of stock exhaust might goes up. good luck with the sale.

your warranty will not be gone bc of a muffler, the car still passes emission. most dealerships will overlook the muffler and not even bother bc it is such a minor modification.

I can't even give mine away. I'm keeping it in case I sell the car and want to part out my aftermarket exhaust.

For starters, 'new' is not the same as 'like new' .

And yes, you better keep it unless you need the money or don't have the space. You can sell whatever aftermarket exhaust you have for way more than the $150 to $200 you typically get for a stock exhaust. Good luck.

I'd say keep it... I cutted my oem one for eisenmann race install and bought a brand new oem edition exhaust (the one with black tips) for $120 as a back up just incase if I want to go back to stock or sell the car.
