I have a 03 Z4 that just had its electric assist motor replaced about 2 months ago. I have since tested the car without the steering assist and even though the turning is a bit tough in parking lot situations I just can't do without the feel that is turned on when the assist is turned off. I am looking for someone who wants to take the motor off my hands. It is currently installed in the car and I am not technically savvy enough to remove it. If you want it and can have it safely removed PM me and maybe we can work out the logistics. I have the BMW receipt verifying the newness of the unit, it was installed under my CPO.
