2008 BMW 135i Vert! 1800 miles!!!

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
There are garage queens then there are garage...Queens. My 135i Vert has never been driven in the rain, never left outside the garage and is basically showroom condition.

It's got every option you can get except for cold weather and nav. It has IPOD, upgraded sound, sport and premium package, Sirius etc.

She has been used only for quick trips into the market area for coffee or to go out to dinner. No damage, no accidents...simply mint new. I put on BMW pedals, foot stop, air valve stems and color paint matched license plate covers and had the windows professionally tinted. Other then that...stock. Yes that is a manual tranny you see. Until you drive a 135i stick, you have not really driven the 135i. It's a blast.

Sticker price was right at 50k even. For sale price is $33,999. Well below Kelly.

832-671-0552 cell for serious inquires. Car is just outside of Houston, TX.

p.s. Also included is a brand new vert windscreen. Factory BMW part. I can send a lot more pictures if interested.

lol it's a manual tranny. IMO the only way to drive the 135i No active steering. I tried it, didnt like it. Numbed the steering too much. I ordered her from Germany specifically tailored this way. Year one of 1 badged. My wife and I refuse to drive in the rain, or if had recently been raining.

And yes, it is a steal. Nothing hidden here, just an amazing car barely used for a low price.

I beg to differ. . Driven both I feel that any choice of transmission would fit this car well. Just preference of choice if you really think about it because we all knoW steptronic is faster in the end and believe it or not a blast with shifting gears as well. Oh and the 4 speed auto in your accord isn't even within the same warehouse of technology used to design the ZF steptronic in our cars. I have owned both and have experienced both first hand.

GL with your sale. Beautiful car and I woudlve have chosen manual with the convertible as well. They make a great combo.

LOL I was just teasing you with the Honda remark. At least I didn't compare the Step to my wife's mini van auto! Hehe.

I've driven the Step actually several times and it is great, especially if your 1 is a daily driver. Our Vert was just used on weekends <as evidenced by the low miles> and both my wife and I love rolling the gears in it. It is a VERY smooth and powerful manual.

Heya, sorry was out of town for a few days. The build date? Hmm, good question. I believe April 08. I watched it day by day as it went through the assembly line and then watched it swimming until we finally got it in May. Btw I posted the ebay link above in case you wanted to see more pictures and the window tag. Here it is again though:

yes saw the ebay link earlier.

Plus for me is current state of car, prem HIFI, and packages - attractive price.

down side, no step, heated seats, PDC, NAV, color choice if interior

Picky I know but spoiled by my 135.

I'm going to do some noodling on the 2 area dealers and see what is sitting on their lots vai the web.

Well be in contact - almost called this weekend - hope you enjoyed your travels - love weekend trips (: absoulty lived for them while I was in Germany last year - each weekend was mini vacation to explore - either with my 135 or a great rental diesel or train - ohhh so home sick LOL

Oh it most defintely is a strong and wonderful transmission. I loved my 6mt in me 335i. But regardless of daily driver I think both transmissions do this car justice. I never hated driving my 335i in traffic, in fact it kept me entertained a a little lol.

No problem. Feel free to call me on the cell if you have any questions. The only other mod I did, which I forgot to put on the ebay ticket was the antenna. I replaced the stock version with a lower profile bmw one. It looks a lot better on the 1 verts and functions just as good.

I spent a little over $1500 in Griots equipment and have done all the paint wax <I use their Best of Show> followed up with their Paint sealant myself. It's great stuff and by not driving in the rain or when the roads are wet, the paint is in near perfect condition.

As for the interior color, that of course is subjective. I'm not a fan of the terra as it has a little too much POP for my taste. I wanted a color that was lighter, which would stay cooler in the Houston summer days yet still looked classy. Bringing the exterior jet black into the interior was important to me so the gloss black accent a long with the Boston Grey worked perfectly. I almost didn't get it. I had the beige actually ordered because the Boston Grey looks blue on BMW's car builder. Then by chance one day I stopped by a dealership and saw the Boston Grey on a One. I loved it and changed my order that day. Best choice I made as it really goes well with the Heat here <stays very cool> and the Jet Black looks nice with it.

^^^ Yea, I am Has absolutely nothing to do with the car. Wife and I are trying to buy some retirement land in the Hill country of Texas, and we have just not been able to drive her as much as I would of liked too in Houston. I absolutely REFUSE to drive her in the rain...that sadly has cut out a lot of miles driven when it's rained as much here over the last two years as it has.
