Question Any black Z4's paint their headlight housings black?

Looking into getting Tekarbon Angel Eyes and considering getting the headlights painted while I am at it. But not quite sure how it would look on an already black car. Anyone done this or have photos of someone who has?

While on the same topic, what about black grill on black coupe/roadster?

Me personally, i love the blacked out look. The silver headlights stick out too much on darker colored z's.

@ nickpapa

Sorry, but ONLY the Facelift NON-Z4 3.0si got that black inlay.
It the same with every BMW: f.e. e46 top engine --> chrome/titan headlights
smaller engines --> black headlights

You posted a NON-3.0si, it's one z4 with smaller enginge and so he got black inlays

But I think the facelift black is more a gray than a black. That's a shame..

@ nickpapa:

In europe there are this options available:

Pre-facelift = 3.0i (without the s)
3.0i = chrome inlay
2.5i and the other smaller engine = glossy black inlay

Facelift = 3.0si or Z4M
3.0si = matte titan inlay
2.5si and smaller si engines = matte black inlay

Every other combination is custom!

PS: your pic doesn't show a 3.0i. Why? Facelift Headlights, Facelift Bumper = Facelift Z4 = 3.0i

OR someone switched the new headlights and the new bumper to an old pre-facelift 3.0i

i think you're confusing US Z4's and european Z4's. After 05, BMW stopped selling 2.5's and only had 3.0i and 3.0si (in the US). Both were facelifted in front and in back. 3.0i headlights are the ones in the pic I posted, and 3.0si have chrome.

I debated black when I replaced my headlight, but I kept the silver/chrome
