masked the car, using tiffen dfx v2 applied a cinegel 1/4 straw filter to the background at 75% opacity, then applied a "dramatic" black and white look at 60% opacity. did a basic photoshop BW filter on the car at about 40%.
and the usual RAW adjustments.

cool, thanks for the tip. I haven't played with filters much in PS, but will give the Tiffen suite a try. Wouldn't mind retiring the large cylinder of lens filters at some point if I can do it all in post processing with similar results.

they can't really fully replace typical lens filters (especially your NDs and such), but i find that i use them more than anything else lately.
