Nice runs man!
I miss the old days at Englishtown, great track How did the cooper S run? We have an 09 S auto but I doubt my wife would let me bring it to the track LOL Brian

Cooper S ran 16.038 @ 89.20. It was a great day, I can't wait for my full track day on april 22nd

You should go to Island Dragway next time. My uncle is a drag racer, he has a 7 or 8 second GNX that he runs there every couple of weekends. He tells me that Island is nicer to the driver than Englishtown.

Overall, I thought Raceway Park was a VERY good track...the lines weren't too bad. I got 3 runs in a matter of 3 hours in which i took about an hour and a half talking to people and in the tech line.

Hi Chesterfan1230,
I liked the videos. Everything looked good. I was just wondering why you did upshift earlier? It looked like you just let the tranny shift for you at redline? ??? I would have thought it would be faster to shift at say, 6,200 rpms or so. ? On a stock car the power is kind of week at close to redline, no? |
