2012 F30 M3 engine update
Hope this isn't a repost, but my recent blog perusing led me to this. Given all the news about FWD, the GT and BMW losing its prime focus, at least they are sticking with the I6 standard we all love. Sadly, so long NA...

That is 100% speculation on their part. It could be an I6 or a V6.
Also, just as an FYI, "2012 F30 M3" in your post title isn't very accurate. It should be 2014 M3 (outside NA) or 2015 M3 (NA). Furthermore, it should be F3x, since the F30 is the sedan and we don't even know if there will be an F30 M3 yet. |
