PS2 + 16,800 miles = time for new tires. Advice?
I've been looking into Yokohama 275 - 35 - 19" and the Falken 275 - 35 - 19". Any pros and cons of that tire size? Thanks in advance

with 245/35 PS2 front?
If you're going to use 275/35 rear, recommend 255/35 front to matching increase on the overall diameter.

I don't want to jack your thread, but how the F%*# did you get 16,800 miles out of a set of PS2's? I have 25,000 miles on my car and I am on my third set of front tires and fourth set of rears. If you can get that many miles out of your tires, then you should just put a new set on. Why mess with a good thing?

I only put 200-300 miles so I can't tell much but these things are so silent compare to PS2. Drove semi-hard last sunday and it seems holding it well but didn't try harder due to being a new tire set. So far, I'm lovin it (and waiting on their 50 bucks rebate).

I have 14K on my rears and still have life. I think I should be able to get at least 16K. Some of you guys must drive like a bat out of hell all the time to get this terrible tire life. My fronts will go at least 30K. Most of my miles are highway too but I don't creep around town either.
BTW - I would look at the Conti ExtremeContact tires. They are priced right, are very light, and seem to be getting good reviews plus their treadwear rating is I think 340!

340 tread wear = no grip! But if you Dd your car and don't push the envelope through tight curves it could work! It all depends on your driving style
