2011 AW/CR 135i, Perf Exhaust.
I just had a clear-bra installed today and decided to take some pics.
Although this car is absolutely excellent, I ran over an under construction curb, literally 15 minutes after driving off. Man, I hate S.F. sometimes. Damage was luckily only a bit on the wheel - it was a nightmare though. It seems like new wheels are in the future. Anyways, I had the perf. exhaust installed prior to pick-up and that things sounds beastly. Will put in the BMW SSK once they have one for the 2011. PICS! Damaged the bottom of this wheel: Was this backseat tray designed into the back of other years' 135s? |

DCT? Our cars are almost twins ('cept mine is a 2010) with the same color combo; I just bought mine last week and live in the Bay Area too.

Wow, i just realized all the shots JUST cut-off my 6MT. I immediately wished for DCT on the traffic-filled ride home. Then forgot about it on the twisty country road.

I ask this because the dealer replaced mine that had a upper bin in it and i was told that was the only dash they are making now. I since had them put my original dash back in but it rattles now and is just not right anymore.

I've had zero damage to my Evo's wheels in the five years of ownership and I get this the first 15 minutes of my BMW life. |

I just spent 8 day in SF and the only 135 I saw was in Napa. I saw probably 10 128s but only ONE 135 in 8 days (it was a vert to boot)! My second time in SF... I completely forgot how bad the homeless problem is in the city. They REALLY need to do something about that or the tourism industry will fade quickly. Every tourist we ran into made the same comment. That being said, I can't wait to go back. Oh, and your car looks great!

I have lived in or near NYC for my entire life and I can remember how NYC used to be with peep shows and homeless all over the place... since Giuliani cleaned up the city I've both lived and worked there and have never encountered a single panhandler. In SF there were, with no exaggeration, at least 2 on most blocks and 3-6 per block near Union Sq (where I stayed). I watched cops, of which there seem to be a complete lack of, stand by and just watch a nut-job brow-beat tourists waiting in line for the cable car at Market and Powell, and I mean that he was screaming in their faces about the bible, etc.. I've traveled pretty extensively both in and out of the US and never encountered such an onslaught of panhandlers and homeless in my life. It's an AMAZING city with a really big problem that must be addressed.
