Car Detailing

Finished my friend's Accord today. It was day and night difference when it comes to dark color cars. Not exactly professional grade, just thought I'd share.

Pre-Wash

Cleaned up the foggy headlights (could had been better, but ran out of sandpaper)

Post-Wash

Finished Product

Total time took 6.5 hrs. I cut a few corners since I was pretty much beat (friend didnt mind). It would had took longer if the owner and the wife didn't pitch in (we had dinner reservation).

Materials used:
Car Soap (Got from Costco)
Natural Sea Sponge
Dual Bucket with Grit Guard
Tarminator

ArmorAll Carpet Cleaner
303 Fabric & Vinyl Cleaner
Invisible Glass
303 Aerospace Protectant

Meguiars Claybar
Meguiars Quik Detailer
Porter Cable 7424XP
Pinnacle XMT Swirl Remover #1 (with white pad)
Pinnacle XMT Swirl Remover #3 (with orange pad)
Menzerna Power Lock (with black pad)
Wheel Wax
No Touch Wet N Protect Tire Finish

Nice work! Looks great a great improvement, your friend should be impressed. Interesting to see that Honda metallic paint appears to have much less orange peel than the German and Italian cars I've detailed recently.

Bringing them back from the dead is addictive. There's a lot of satisfaction in it.
