M3 E92 Gts Rims

Im picking my 2011 E92 M3 in a month and I just want to start preparing some things for it ^^. I came across these rims from the GTS and I was mesmerized. I was wondering where I can rims with the same alloy spoke. Can anybody recommend some brands of rims for me? My budget is around 2k-2.5k for a new set of rims. Many Thanks!

I believe this is the competition wheel in black. Did you get the competition package? If so, you could just get the wheels powder coated black and you'll have them. If you didn't, you can purchase the silver competition wheels at Turner, then get them powder coated black. At some point, BMW will hopefully offer these.

They can't be bought from the factory (yet) unless you go through the BMW Individual program like Mark's M did. You can buy a set of 359Ms and have them powdercoated black, though you probably won't exactly match the factory's finish. EAS sells 359Ms in a variety of finishes.

I am currently looking at the forgestar F14s. I was considering a set of VMRs but after looking into the quality of the rims and how the paint comes off very easily, I pulled out. I came across the HRE P40s but after looking at the price tag which was 5k a set of rims I didnt want to get them. Are there any nice lightweight rims out there with a black gloss finish and alloy spoke designs for 2000-2500?

How about the new BBS CH-R in Black Centers with Polished Stainless Steel Lip Protector?

They look aggressive, are priced perfectly for your budget, and are backed by one of the most famous names in the wheel business!

They're a bit different from the Competition wheels, but in a good way!

Like I said, hit up EAS for a set of 359Ms in a black finish. The price will be in the neighborhood of what you're looking for.

Is it the same rim and? Are you just referring to the color?
Thanks.

Yes, they are the same wheels, finish notwithstanding.

Don'y get Forgestars they are lowballer low quality wheels that don't meet minimum axle weight strength construction.

Are the set of 359Ms from EAS forged wheels or cast wheels?

Only problem with this is they are about $500 more for the "stock" (Non colored) set from EAS than what you can get them from Tischer BMW for.

EAS - $2500 (Rims only in stock BMW silver)
Tischer - $2050 (Rims only in stock BMW silver)

That being said EAS will powder coat them in various colors for only $250 more so if you want colored rims it evens out price wise.

The Competition wheels can be a bit pricey so if you're looking for something a bit less expensive than that, we can do VMR wheels in which the CSL style wheel is somewhat similar as well as the V710s.

Regardless if you really want the exact wheels on the GTS, I can get the competition wheels, then powdercoat them to look JUST like the GTS wheels you posted. If you want to do that, then just PM me and we can get you set up

V710:

CSL:

Let me know if any of those strike your interest.

I LOVE the BBS CH blacks but am concerned about the weight.

Does anyone have weight comparison data between the stock 18" wheel and the BBS CHs 18"s?
