BMW Ultimate Drive Event & autocross

Hey,

Anyone else sign up for the autocross event weekend of Sep 10 in Baltimore?

I have question though, in the past, what cars did they bring out for the autocross portion? Should we expect M cars? I think they'll probably just bring out 335 and 135s.

They have an autocross event for free, that's all I know. In addition, they'll also have A4, IS350, and others there for comparison. I was invited through email and I had to call to make reservations. There was a similar Mini Cooper event earlier this year, reservation was closed by the time I checked, and I was able to just show up and attend.

I've never attended the BMW event before so I'm just asking to see if anyone else knows what cars will be used in the autocross.

Wow, as strict as they've been on some warranty issues lately I find this a bit surprising. Keep the post alive and tell us how it goes....

damn, sounds like you've attended before. At least I'm hoping for a 335 or a 135. They're pretty strict on who attends, they only allowed me to add 1 guest.

John (Shieldze) and I went to Fedex field a month or so ago and did the autocross there!! it was sad cuz all of these miata's, celica's were leaving us in the dust!

I've done plenty of these driving events, including BMW. funny how as someone who owns multiple BMWs and looking to replace 1 soon, I didn't invited

as far as free events goes, BMW and Audi are usually the best. 1 guest is pretty normal, especially since this one is invitation only.

I'm going Friday at 12:30 for the "Street Drive" and 2PM for the Autocross. Also, I asked and they don't allow you to take your own car on the autocross circuit...

hey man, I have exact same schedule. I'll be pulling up with a Silver E90 M3. I also called and they said they'll be providing lunch as well.

wouldn't you want to flog someone else's car on an autox? thats what so great about these free events (although the course isnt designed to be really aggressive)

if you want to autox your own car, see the NCC events where is as good as it gets

which one are you replacing it with?

is this event worth the drive? it says we will be given a 328 with two course hrs.
