Has anyone ever used Meguiars Mirror Glaze #26 Carnauba Yellow Wax?
It's an old formula, popluar amoung the enthusiasts in my BMWCCA chapter.
A 1972 2002 won 1st place in our BMW CCA concours today and the owner told me that he's been using the stuff for years. Other than the wax, he performs a clay magic cleaning, followed by P21S paint cleaner, polish, and then the Meguiars #26 yellow wax. His car looked great Anyone ever used this stuff? I know it's rather inexpensive..but it seemed to have done a good job. The 2002 beat out a pristine 24/7 gagaged 1988 M5 (45k orig miles). Impressive .

I've used, it years ago. It's a bit of a pain to work with, but similar to Collinite or the old One Grand Blitz Wax, but not as easy to work with as P21s. Since detailing relies more on prep work than last stage polish, you could use just about any wax and win, provided you do your prep correctly. This is the whole appeal of silly priced waxes like Zymol, that last about half an hour in the sun, but "win" awards.
