Stolen Rims
Woke up this morning to find my car on milk crates and my new BremmerKraft BR05s gone. If anyone sees anyone selling BBS knockoffs in 18x8 et40 and 18x9 et45 in the New York area, please let me know.
BMW Assist is sending a tow truck to help me mount my stock rims/tires and tow me to the dealership. Looks like at the very least I need new side skirts. I likely need rotors and my driver side door is bent out of shape because of the side skirt pressing up into it. |

I feel your pain. Same thing happened to me a year ago. Stolen 24's off my Lincoln truck. The truck was left on landscape bricks. My insurance paid me back minus the 500 deductible. Never bought Rome again. Luckily I still had the stocked on the garage.

UGH - I can't stand people that steal. I once had my Honda Civic broken into, they stole my stereo, amp and sub. They also tried to steal my Piaa fogs. They stole about $700 worth of gear - but did $4500 worth of damage!
I'm sorry for your loss - hopefully they catch these ba$tards! |

Milk crates?!? The shitheads couldn't even properly block your car?
I can't even imagine what goes through a person's brain in order to do something like this. Crackheads, maybe? Incidentally, I don't think BMW sells their cars with stock wheel locks. Mine didn't come with them, anyway.

I think my dealership put them on as a courtesy, along with floormats, but they came out of their parts department. Who know, I don't have the case in my car, and I'm not opening my doors to find the key and see if it's branded.

That is truly painful to look at. I honestly have had the occasional bad-dream that all sorts of stuff is stolen from my car (like the engine and parts that don't really exist in real life - I know; wtf) and they are the hardest dreams to shake off in the morning.

I'll look out for these. Never forget the locks.
There are always rims showing up here and there where I live. I fear the day they come after my BBS-made R3 rims on my RX-8. |
