Hey Guys,

It's about time for the wife and I to do the whole kids/big house thing and the M3 is having a hard time fitting into the picture so for that reason and that reason alone I am looking to gauge interest (If any) in my M3 before I go the trade in route. Not a fun post as I love this car...

Without further ado here are the specs:

2008 BMW M3 Coupe (e92)
29,000+ miles atm

Exterior: Sparkling Graphite Metallic (Carbon Fibre roof) BMW no longer offers this color for the M3 so it's pretty unique.

Interior: Black Novillo Leather with Carbon Fibre leather trim.

Options:
Premium Package
Navigation (Tech Package)
EDC
M -DCT transmission
Ipod/Usb Adapter
Heated front seats
Enhanced Premium Sound
HD Radio
Satellite radio
PDC
Carpeted BMW M3 floor mats
19'' Rims

I've also modded the car with the following:

Dinan Mods:
Dinan Intake
Dinan Pulley
Dinan ECU Reflash
Dinan Exhaust
Dinan Stage 2 Suspension kit (Stage 1 + Sway Bar)
Dinan rear deck badge (You only get this from Dinan after you have bought & installed 10+ points in upgrades from them my car has 14 points.)

Other Mods:
RPI Scoops
EAS Color matched front reflectors
EAS AIB Angel Eye kit
Matte Black Front Grille and Side Gills
VMR710 19'' rims (Matte Black)

I have all service records and reciepts for after market parts so the Dinan warranty will apply/transfer. I have attached a couple of recent pics but I can take more pics if requested for serious buyers.

I am located in Houston Texas but I am willing to meet within a reasonable driving distance like Austin if needed to view the car.

Price: Asking $49.5k obo.

The current serious inquiry i have on my car would prefer the car to be as close to stock as possible.

So i will most likely be doing a Dinan parts sale in the near future assuming i dont find someone who wants it just the way it is first!

I suspect that the new car buyer, probably being more affluent often prefers the AMT (or whatever it's called) while the often younger more sport driven second hand buyer prefers the 6m.

It seems to me that the AMT cost you $2K to buy new as an option and then you lose another $2-4K on resale because of it.

Anyways, sick car and someone is going to get a fantastic deal. Good luck w/ the sale!

Thanks Scott! It's not easy letting it go (especially since I/You just recently did allot of the Dinan mods) going through some serious sellers remorse atm and i havent even sold it yet lol!

I guess I can understand your logic about wanting to have a 6-mt. Personally my reasons for getting the dct were two-fold:

1) Houston Traffic (Just like I-35 in Austin) it sucks and having the "auto-mode" for that mind numbing bumper to bumper was a big plus imo.

2) Competitive side, what i mean is like it or not 6-mt loses straight up to dct every time as no matter how good you think you are at shifting you simply cannot shift as quickly as the car.
