X pipes and different exotic sound (2 res. vs 4 res.?)
Gintani design (seems to have the exotic tone + most power)
Borla/Dinan Design Has anyone noticed the difference between the sound of X-pipes, or a difference in power gain from swapping between the two? The Borla design is a stock like setup. The wholesale price is extremely attractive too. Is it me or does the Gintani X really give the car the exotic sound I am looking for? I guess I havent heard enough of the Dinan/Borla but the 4 resonators are appealing. What are your thoughts? |

I would bet the gintani will sound more exotic while the dinan option will give it more of the typical v8 sound. Both sound good it just depends on what you want.
I've compared my Gintani x-pipe/Dinan rear to the standard full dinan setup and mine sounds more exotic while the dinan setup sounds like a good sounding v8.
