Fitting the eisenmann race
Well I've put the exhaust decision off pending all the chat about the BMW performance exhaust. I'm assuming that the BMW offering is not forthcoming as it's gone quiet on that front. So I'm leaning towards the eisenmann race as a lot of you guys seem very happy with it.
So if I order one of these for my 07 (yes it was delivered in November 07 in the UK) E92 what's involved in hooking it up? Do I need their cross pipes as well? Just over £2K (with the x pipes) seems a reasonable price to put a much bigger smile on the face when I start it up. |

Have a look here
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=476619 Huge saving and it includes the connecting pipes so there is no need to chop up your original exhaust. No connection to the seller, just noticed it for sale this morning |

In the base kit you detach your pipes to the muffler and cut then, no need for the connecting pipes. If you don't want to cut your muffler than buy the eisenmann connecting pipes. Either way the eisenmann race is like sex on a stick.

Definitely use the connecting pipes. Dont cut the OEM pipes.

Thanks. That does look like a good deal. However, having checked the clips of the Tubi exhaust on youtube it doesn't seem to be anything like as mean as the eisenmann. Sounds very farty (raspy) on start up; not nearly powerful enough. Shame cos I'd like to save money for sure. |

Last I heard it's still a Q1 offering from BMW but I was told it was to be circa £2700 and are just the mufflers. So if you are considering the Eisenmann Race I'd say they are on different sound levels (as opposed to Eisenmann Sport system) anyway.
Im leaning towards putting an Akrapovic slip-on system for less than what BMW want for their OEM solution.
