yeah when i e-mailed them before they said there were no plans... so i doubt it.
I'm sure there's someone out there with the money, time and know-how that is going to try it... i hope.

That's an interesting thread. There seems to be a concensus that the M division has lost his way by introducing turbo engines in their lineup and yet people are clamoring for turbo kits. Maybe the dislike of turbo engines in M cars is not as widespread as this forum would let you believe.

Hey if the new M is capable of being a turbocharged V6/V8 and redlining at 8300 RPM I'm all for it... Too bad it won't, and that is why I am not fond of the idea.

Correct. HPF wouldn't be able to push the S65 as far as they did with the S54 but still would probably make good power and be reliable if they were to do it. But from the sounds of it, seems that they will not be making a turbo kit for the S65.

+1. For the right price anything can be done...I'm sure if IND was paid that much they would do it, I know Ilia is a turbo guy himself.

Without doing a built motor, I think anything over 10psi, you'll find issues with stock motor internals.
Now as far as space, yes its extremely tight, but if someone has the budget, anything can be done! |

From what I understand engine management is just as much an issue as packaging.

I'm sure this is true. It's taken 335i guys at least 4-5 years to get a single turbo conversion cooking. I spoke with HPF when I bought my car and they said there's no room for the turbos. There's always a chance for a rear mounted turbo I would think. Will a turbo kit eventually be out, yup. Will it put a dent in your wallet, definitely..
