Expensive morning: Cracked iCarbon Lip.
Shit, shit, shit. Didn't pay attention exiting a driveway and scraped the iCarbon lip badly plus it's cracked in one place. Lowered cars and carbon lips are a dangerous combo.
Every time I get my credit cards almost down to sane levels something like this happens. The thing that sucks I got this for $499 as part of the original group buy, best new price I have seen is from Vividracing at $715. Anyone have a used one they want to part with? |

I'll take your broken one for $50 if you were just planning on throwing it out.
I'd contact iCarbon directly. See if you can work something out |

Yep, I know exactly how you feel. This one compliments of a fox at Autobahn speeds. I was part of the original group buy too.
Exhibit B, the CF lip on my last car. Compliments of a big Rubbermade trashcan that flew out the back of a pickup on the highway at 50mph. No damage to the bumper, but split the CF lip in 2. I have some bad luck with CF lips |

patch it up and paint it. No one will know it has a crack. It will look great in the same color as the car or you can paint it shadowline black if you want it to stand out.

I was just thinking that (for the OP), mold it back together, paint it black, good to go. Or, instead of painting the whole thing black, paint the center portion under the FMIC black, the sides white. Just ideas to save the lip. |

That sucks, I feel sorry for you. I really want a CF front lip but this is exactly what scares me. Dropping 600+ dollars on something that is in such a dangerous spot. Look great though!

No wisdom involved, I am totally aware how vulnerable the lip is in that location. But in my opinion the lip totally transforms the front of the car from ho-hum to aggressive. It really makes the car for me.
