Anyone successfully fit a RPI exhaust and VRS type II diffuser?

Anyone successfully fit a RPI axle back exhaust and VRS type II diffuser? I have an E92 M3 and no matter what I do I just cannot get any clearence between the exhaust and diffuser. I'm thinking I may need to return the diffuser as I cannot make it work, any ideas before I send it back?

By the way, I love the RPI axle back exhaust, what an amazing sound!

I have a gintani exhaust with 90MM tips on the way with a vorsteiner diffuser....i was informed from the vender that it would have no fitment issues (90mm tips), hopefully im not wrong

I had it. The fit was close, but it didn't rub. I might be able to find some pictures of it when I get home. My advice would be keep trying to adjust the exhaust.

did you get a v style replica? Those had fitment problems for my 90mm tips, not the real VRS though.

give it back or sell it, get a used one authentic on the forums or something. I had the same problem. It doesn't fit worth a crap unless you use permanent epoxy and your tips will burn a hole through it or scratch it first time you go to install it.

Yeh, thats not going to happen, one side will still be higher than the other and you can't bend the outside hanger.

i've ran the v diffuser with the rpi, gintani and akra exhaust.. you will have no problems

I have the rep diffuser and it does not come close to fitting, I hear the authentic fits fine.
